What is a Professional Organizer? A Professional Organizer teaches you how to get organized by helping you get control over your space and your time, so that you have more time to do what you love! We work with you, side by side, offering you specific suggestions and the solutions you need to take control of your clutter. We teach you organizing solutions so you can enjoy the lasting benefits and improve your quality of life. We teach you how to get and stay organized.
How does it work? It all starts with a phone call where we talk about your areas of concern and why you want to get organized. The next step is to book a needs assessement at your home, where we will discuss and view your areas of concern. The assessment is necessary in order to know exactly what your needs and goals are, and decide on a plan of action to reach those goals. A system and plan of action will be put into place that will fit your personality, surroundings, and time limits in order for you to get and stay organized. Session dates and times are set so we can begin simplifying and transforming your life!
How long will it take? Every situation is different and we handle each one differently. It all depends on the size and time needed to complete it. A needs assessment will enable us to look a little closer at the areas you want organized, and we can provide you with a better estimate and course of action.
How much do you charge? What makes Clutter Free Bug unique is that we not only help you get organized, but we teach you how to stay organized. We give you hands on help and guide you step by step towards your final goal. Every situation is different and we handle each one differently. Pricing depends on the size of the project and the time needed to properly complete it. We get a better idea of how much a project will cost after our assessment or meeting. Once we see the areas of concern, we can provide you with a better estimate and a course of action. We charge $50.00 an hour with a 3 hour minimum for each organizing session in order to cover every step of the organizing process. We accept cash or checks payable to 'Clutter Free Bug'.
Do I need to be present? Yes! We work as a team in helping you sort and organize your space, and only YOU can make final decisions on your things. We guide you through the organizing process helping you learn more about what is really important to you. Once you've identified what things are important to you, your decision on what items to keep and what items you don't want to keep become simple decisions to make. We want you to be comfortable with every decision that you make during this step of the organizing process.
Do I have to buy a lot of organzing bins and products? No. We discourage purchasing more "stuff" until we have attacked the clutter at hand. Often times, when an area has been completely purged and organized, we'll actually find good space or pieces that we can now use effectively to house certain objects. That's the beauty behind organization! We will actually free up space and containers that can now hold the things you really use, need and love. There may be times however, that a particular container must be purchased in order to hold specific items comfortably.
